Disasters just keep on growing and believers are all eagerly awaiting the coming of the Savior, yearning to be lifted up into the sky in their sleep to meet with the Lord and to escape the misery of today’s intensifying disasters. Why are they so confidently waiting for the Lord Jesus to come down and rapture them up to meet Him? They believe that since their sins have been forgiven through their faith in the Lord Jesus, the Lord no longer sees them as of sin, they have everything they need, and will be taken straight into the kingdom when the Lord comes. I went only to Catholic schools as a child until I finished high school. I was very active in saying prayers and attending fellowship as well as other church activities. I was always longing for the Lord to come on a cloud and take me into the kingdom of heaven. I saw the signs of the Lord’s return had already appeared and the great disasters were upon us, but the Lord still hadn’t appeared on a cloud. I’d gaze at the sky and wonder, “When will the Lord come?” In my Bible reading one day I noticed that there are more biblical prophecies about the Lord’s return than just Him coming on a cloud, that it says different things. These verses say: Continue reading “I Have Finally Welcomed the Lord”→
By YufeiAfter a Bible study meeting, Pastor Huang left hurriedly, clutching the Bible under his arm. I and several other co-workers began to talk about today’s meeting. Sister Li looked thoughtful and said: “Brothers and sisters, all these years we have been waiting to welcome the coming of the Lord. According to what the pastors say, we watch and pray, look up to the sky, and wait for the Lord to come upon white clouds with great glory and to take us up into the kingdom of heaven. But year after year, disasters become ever greater. The four blood moons have appeared. Yet, why haven’t we seen the Lord come upon the clouds with great glory? These days, I am thinking: Is the way of our waiting for the Lord right? If there is something wrong leading us to miss the Lord’s return, then isn’t our belief in Him all in vain? I attended the wedding ceremony of my niece yesterday and heard several brothers in the Lord talking in a low voice. They said the Lord has returned to flesh and is doing a stage of new work of judging man and purifying man through His words …” Continue reading “Reveal the Mystery of Great Glory”→
Gospel Movie Clip “Break the Spell” (2) – When the Lord Returns, How Will He Appear to Mankind?
The last days have already arrived, and many believers yearn for the Lord to return and take them up into the kingdom of heaven. But do you know how the Lord will appear to us when He returns? Will it really be as we imagine, that He will appear openly, directly descending upon a cloud? Almighty God says, “Do you wish to see Jesus? Do you wish to live with Jesus? Do you wish to hear the words spoken by Jesus? … In what manner will Jesus return? You believe that Jesus will return upon a white cloud, but I ask you: To what does this white cloud refer? With so many followers of Jesus awaiting His return, among which people shall He descend?” “When you see Jesus descend from the heaven upon a white cloud with your own eyes, this will be the public appearance of the Sun of righteousness. … It will herald the end of God’s management plan, and will be when God rewards the good and punishes the wicked. For the judgment of God will have ended before man sees signs, when there is only the expression of truth”
By XinjieAll manner of disasters have occurred in recent years, the four blood moons have long since appeared, and the prophecies concerning the Lord’s return have now basically been fulfilled. How then are we to greet the Lord? The Lord Jesus says, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). In Revelation, it is prophesied many times, “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2, 3). These prophecies tell us that the Lord will speak to the churches when He returns in the last days, and through His utterances He will knock upon the doors of our hearts, seeking His sheep. If we want to greet the Lord’s return, therefore, we must be the wise virgins and learn how to hear God’s voice, for only by doing that will we be able to attend the feast of the Lamb. Now is the end of the last days when the prophecies of the Lord Jesus’ return have all come true, and we expect to be taken into God’s kingdom and obtain eternal life more eagerly, because the Lord Jesus once said, “He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him” (John 3:36). All these years we have been repenting our sins, preaching the gospel, and bearing fruits, just as the Lord Jesus asked. Thus, we all feel ourselves most approved by God, and that as long as we hold on to the Lord Jesus’ way, we will surely obtain eternal life.
