A few days later Brother Zhongcheng invited me to the church and only then did I know that it was called The Church of Almighty God. He read many of Almighty God’s words for me and showed me the church’s website, which has videos of recitations of Almighty God’s words, choral videos, all sorts of videos of singing and dancing, gospel films, crosstalks, short sketches, and testimonies of personal experiences written by brothers and sisters—all these works bear witness to God. I Finally Found a True Church (Part One)

Editor’s Note: In recent years lots of brothers and sisters who are genuine believers in the Lord have very clearly felt that their churches have become more and more desolate, and that their pastors are always preaching about the same old things that can’t resolve people’s practical difficulties. Brothers and sisters are becoming weak and negative, and living in sin; they can’t feel the presence of the Lord, and thus quite a few of them wish to seek out a church with the work of the Holy Spirit. So then, what kind of church really does possess the Holy Spirit’s work, and how can we find one? I believe that Sister Li Yinghua’s experience can show us the way.

Why Haven’t We Welcomed the Second Coming of Jesus?

Recently, I saw some believer asked in a post on Facebook, “Now is already the last days and the prophecies of the Lord’s return have basically all been fulfilled, but why haven’t we met the Lord yet? Is it that there is something wrong with our way of waiting?” Actually, most brothers and sisters are also confused about this. Regarding this question, I have some simple understanding and would like to share it with you now.

The Lord Jesus has ever told us, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself … ” (John 14:3). “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” (Matthew 24:30). I’d believed in the Lord for 28 years as a member of a local church, and because I believed the negative publicity of the church, I almost missed my chance to welcome the return of the Lord Jesus. If it hadn’t been for God’s mercy, then I would have lost my one and only chance to attain true salvation. My experiences brought me to earnestly appreciate that, only by being a wise virgin, taking the initiative to seek the truth and focusing on listening to God’s voice can we welcome the appearance of God.

Two years ago, a sister from my church returned to her hometown to preach the gospel there and, two weeks later, she returned. When she had gathered us together at a church meeting, she said, “Eastern Lightning testifies that the Lord Jesus has now returned in the flesh, and that He is expressing truths and performing the work of judgment.
