2020 Praise Song “Mankind Needs God’s Provision of Life”

Verse 1
Without God in man’s heart,
his inner world remains dark;
there’s no hope in his empty life.
Many try to preserve the advancement of man,
but without God as his guide, man’s still empty inside.
No one can be the life of man,
no theory, science, knowledge,
or democracy can fully soothe him.
Man will still sin and bemoan injustices.
These don’t restrain his craving and desire to explore.

Chorus
Man needs more than a fair society
where all are well-fed, equal and free.
The salvation of God and His provision of life,
these are the things that man needs.
Only when man receives these things from God
can his needs be satisfied;
man’s desire to explore and his spiritual emptiness,
these things can be resolved.

Verse 2
All of this is because man was made by God.
Senseless sacrifices and the exploring man does
only bring distress, constant state of fear.
Not knowing how to face the future or the path ahead,
fearing science and knowledge and deep emptiness.
Wherever one lives in a free country or not,
none can escape mankind’s fate, no.
Rulers or ruled ones can’t flee the desire
to explore destinations, mysteries of man,
and can’t break away from this deep emptiness.

Bridge
These social phenomena are common to man,
but no great man can solve the problems man has.
For man is man, and the position and life of God
can’t be replaced by any man.
If a people or nation don’t receive His salvation,
they tread toward the darkness,
and God will destroy them.

Chorus
Man needs more than a fair society
where all are well-fed, equal and free.
The salvation of God and His provision of life,
these are the things that man needs.
Only when man receives these things from God
can his needs be satisfied;
man’s desire to explore and his spiritual emptiness,
these things can be resolved.
